On March 23 and 24 2019, 'Passion, Agony, Martyrdom and Sanctification of Monsignor Romero' was presented in the cities of Chiavari and Rapallo in the Ligurian region of Northern Italy. This work is composed of 44 digital artworks by visual artist Alberto Cerritos and poetry in the form of a Cantata to Saint Romero of America by Mexican poet Benito Balam. It was presented and translated into six languages: Italian, English, French, Mandarin, Spanish and Genoves.
This edition and presentation was under the direction of Dr. Gabriella Bairo Puccetti in coordination with the municipality of the City of Rapallo. The main event was presented before the municipal council of the City of Rapallo and received media coverage. The artists invited to the event, Alberto Cerritos, Martin Rojas and Benito Balam, brought greetings from their respective organizations Grupo21Plus, Eco Global Arte and Institute La Fonte. The book has been published in CD format and the resulting funds will support the development of the Ragazzi Hostel located in San Salvatore di Cogorno. Here we present a first edition of photographs from these events.
