This series was developed using the application of pastels and charcoal on paper, and some of them acrylic on canvas. Here, the portrait is representational as well as a search for the psychological nature of a character. The central figure in the large majority of these portraits is my wife of many years, Chita.
The exploratory quality of these artworks seeks to express tenderness and sensuality, nostalgia and national origin. Family, children and couples are also depicted.
