'carnival tradition'
'Carnival Tradition' was exhibited in September 1995 in the art gallery of the Simon Fraser University in Vancouver, Canada.
These acrylic on canvas artworks are a neo-expressionist narrative in which the real and the magical intersect between large strokes of colour and are embraced by overlapping compositions. Carnival contains pop as well as humorous elements which comment on different aspects of the reality we live in contemporary society.
