In 1989 I completed my stay in Mexico and began my life in Canada. The mural 'Fear of Others' was my first Canadian collective experience with the Arts in Action Society based in the city of Vancouver situated in the west coast of Canada.​ My Canadian mural experience extends from painting murals upon my return to Cuernavaca, Mexico in 1992, and in Vancouver in 1994 during a cultural exchange between Mexico and Canada. Also in 1993 I participated in cultural exchanges between Canada and West Africa which involved painting murals in Senegal, Cote d'Ivoire, Ghana and Cameroon. In 2006 and 2007 I collaborated in a cultural exchange between Canada and Argentina which was also very educational and exciting.​


My last Canadian public art experience to date (July 2015 - Oct. 2016) was a project titled, Evergreen People, commissioned by the city of Port Moody for the Inlet Centre Skytrain Station in the city of Port Moody, British Columbia, Canada.
