In 2007 I coordinated a cultural exchange between La Raza, a group of Canadian artists, and the Salon de la Plastica Mejicana.

The result was an art show at the headquarters of the salon in Mexico City which included 9 Canadian Artists from Vancouver, Toronto and Montreal. The collaboration, solidarity and vision of Chungtar Chong Lopez, a Venezuelan artist based in Mexico, was essential for the concept of the installation of the show.

​The paintings were shown as an enormous installation, allowing them a new context of dialogue with the space.  The gallery space, with the artworks in place, was transformed into an artistic object where the act of contemplating the work was de-constructed as a passive element that was activated by adding elements of celebration,  participation and rituality.​
